Ash Wednesday was observed February 13th at Martin Luther Church with the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion. Lenten Services will be held alternating between Zion and Martin Luther. This year, Zion will host three of the five Lenten services with Martin Luther hosting two. We will be having a Lenten Series based on the Lord's Prayer. Pastors from St. Matthew's & St. John's Stone Church, Hickory Grove, Grace Lutheran, and Faith Lutheran will be the pastors for the alternating nights.
Martin Luther Church will be designating 2013 Lenten Service offerings to given to our Mission Focus at this time which is the area Backpack Program.
