Pancake Dinner Raises Money for Backpack Program

The members of MLC met for a hearty dinner of pancakes and sausage after the Sunday, February 17th worship service.  The Women of the ELCA group furnished the groceries and the men of the church assumed their traditional roles of baking up some tasty pancakes.  Good fellowship was enjoyed and a large sum was collected to be given on to the local Backpack Programs.

The Mission Focus for the beginning of 2013 is the Backpack Program.  Special collections during this part of the year will be focused towards this local program.
