Updates Made with Thrivent Funds

Thrivent Financial funds given to MLC were used to make several updates to the church facilities and equipment during the past year.  The bathroom vanities were updated as well as kitchen faucets.  A handicap accessible water fountain was installed near the handicap accessible bathroom on the first level of the church.

Our older television was replaced with a new flat screen TV in the basement.  A camera system was also purchased and will be used to allow overflow crowds that need to be seated in the basement to be able to see the worship area on the first floor.  The television and DVR system is also utilized during Sunday School hour when the children can use sing-along DVD's.

In addition, the Altar Guild purchased new paramounts for the altar, lectern and pulpit in the color of green.    The green color is used throughout the Sundays of Pentecost of the church year.
