There has been a "new" smell in the air as we've entered the church the last month or so. New carpet! The installation of the carpet in the basement of the church has been completed. Even those pesky poles got a facelift. After some creative maneuvering with PVC pipe placed around the poles, the carpet was able to be glued on and that finished the project beautifully.
The sound system has also been updated as of May 16th. It consists of components that will allow the contemporary service instruments and singers to be heard through the central sound system.
Decisions to complete each of these items were made at the last annual meeting. Thanks to the volunteers on the Carpet Committee, Sound System Committee, and to the Council these projects were completed in a timely manner and now members are enjoying the recent updates to the church!
