Church Triumphant - Emma M. Nolte

Emma M. (Michel) Nolte entered the Church Triumphant on April 5, 2013. Pastor Bruce Berggren presided at the April 9th funeral at Martin Luther Church.

Emma had worked at Dan-Deb Sewing Factory and North Cleaners in Auburn.  In her retirement, she kept busy as a seamstress, delivering Meals on Wheels, doing Lutheran hospital visitation, and was part of the Johnson Rag staff.  She was active in the church during her lifetime teaching Sunday School for many years, and serving on the Altar Guild, Parish Education and various other offices.  She was preceded in death by her husband, August Nolte in 1996.  We celebrate with her family as they remember the 93 years she walked in pilgrimage with God here on earth.

MLC church family extends their sympathies to her three children:  Lowell Nolte and wife, Judy; Luray (Nolte) Curttright and husband, Tony; and Lynette (Nolte) Schlitt and husband, Richard; as well as 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness,
which the LORD, the righteous judge, will give me on that day,
and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
