A New Look

The Sanctuary and balcony of the church were updated with new carpet in June, 2011.  Volunteers helped remove pews on June 11th so the process could begin.  The June 12th Sunday Worship Service was held in the basement of the church.  The next Sunday, June 19th, there was no church services at MLC because of the Annual Father's Day Community Service in Johnson.  Above is a picture after the new carpet was laid and before the pews, doors, and altar were put back into place by volunteer MLC workers on June 29th.

The purchase of new carpet was approved at the annual meeting in January, 2011.  Members of the carpet committee appointed by the Council were:  Dennis & Carol Schneider, Sharon Oestmann, Joan Bohling, Jon & Deb Pugh.

A Prayer of Dedication was included with the Prayers for the Day on the July 3rd worship service.
