| Fun and games |
The 2011 Community Bible School which included Martin Luther Church, Zion, St. John's Stone, St. Matthew's, St. James, United Methodist Johnson and United Methodist Brock was hosted this year by Martin Luther Church and held June 6th thru 10th. The theme was "Pandamania" and approximately 80 children from the community attended from 8:15 to 11:30 each day.

Kristine Ideus, a member of the MLC Parish Education Committee was the Bible School Director. She was assisted by Pastors Catherine Burroughs, Mike Carr, Bruce Berggren John Kisling and John Polen, who were each responsible for the lessons on a particular day of the Bible School week. A large number of volunteers from the various churches helped with crafts, music, fun time and snacks.
A picnic was held on the last day day of Bible School. A program was presented at 6:30 p.m. at Martin Luther Church with cookies and social time following.
