There's two ways to look at this. One's first impression might be that it's a bulletin board that's overloaded with papers, untidy, and in need of help. On the other hand and giving it some thought, one might decide that this congregation has a bulletin board that is overflowing with ways that members can help.
At this particular time of year, one will find "sign-up" sheets to direct traffic or to work in the foodstand (anywhere from dawn to evening timeframe) at the annual consignment auction. One can also "sign-up" to do monthly visitations to our shut-ins or bring sweets to the fellowship time after Lenten services. Oh, then there's also all the work that goes on without "signing up". The vast majority of church work happens that way!
Not only are we overflowing with ways to help, MLC is blessed with workers that are very generous with their time and talents. Thank you to ALL of our volunteer workers!
