Brian Baack, son of MLC members Jim and Ginny Baack, is presently serving at FOB Gardez, Afghanistan. Brian is with the Nebraska Air National Guard Agricultural Team No. 2. He is part of the security for the group that left Nebraska last June. The mission is to supply hands-on experience in agriculture to Afghan farmers who have been pre-occupied with the war.
Martin Luther Church family collected items for a Care Package that was sent to Brian in February.
Updated: We are happy to report that Brian and the Nebraska Group returned back from Afghanistan in early April
