MLC church family has four seniors graduating from high school this year. On May 14, 2011, Elizabeth Gibbons, Kayla Fischer, Caitlin Reed and Cody Baack will graduate from Johnson-Brock High School. MLC held a Senior Reception Sunday on April 10th. The graduating seniors previously each chose which blanket would be theirs to take with them on their future journeys from the many blankets the "Sewing Group" of Martin Luther Church had made this past year.

Before the graduates were presented blankets from the MLC Sewing Group, they shared with the congregation some of their future plans. Liz plans on attending a college that offers photography and design; Kay will be attending Wayne State College in Pre-Physical Therapy courses; Caitlin will be attending Southeast Community College in Early Childhood Education; and Cody is presently determining the path he will take next.

After church the Women of Martin Luther Church hosted a reception for the graduating seniors in the church basement.
